Pro-United Russia graffiti artist derided as "toy" - exclusive photos

Out by the Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad' metro station, someone decided it would be a good idea to beautify a utility building by painting pretty pictures on it, including one wall featuring the symbols of the United Russia, Putin's lapdog party in the Russian parliament. The snowdrifts made it hard to capture (as they do with lots of large graffiti at this time of year), but the United Russia motifs are all unmistakably there: the bear, the flag, and the name (you can just see the tops of the letters).

For his (her?) work, this patriotic painter was rewarded by being tagged with the epithet "toy," a term of derision in both the hip-hop and the graffiti worlds. The same artist met the same fate on the other sides of this building:
